Director Subhash Ghai recently shared many things related to the relationship between Ranbir and Rishi Kapoor. According to the director, there was a lot of difference in the nature of father and son.
Subhash Ghai said, “Rishi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor both have different personalities. The father does not like the style in which the new generation wants to grow up and the child does not want to work the way the father wants. That is why there were often fights between the two. There is a lot of love between father and son, but Rishi felt that Ranbir was moving towards western cinema. If he wants success, he should work in Hindi cinema.
Subhash Ghai said that Rishi often shared with him how he used to scold Ranbir. However, Ranbir never said anything directly to his father, but through his mother Neetu Kapoor, he used to tell him to let me do my work now.
