Popular actor Govardhan Asrani, who played the role of jailer in the film Sholay, has passed away today. He was 84 years old. He died at 1 pm.
Govardhan Asrani’s manager Babu Bhai has confirmed the news of his demise while talking to Dainik Bhaskar. He has told that Asrani was admitted to the hospital 4 days ago. His chest was filled with water. After 4 days of treatment, he died in the hospital itself. The family has also performed his last rites.
