सूरज बड़जात्या के नेक्स्ट प्रोजेक्ट में आयुष्मान-शरवरी की जोड़ी: एक नवंबर से शुरू होगी शूटिंग; आयुष्मान बोले- ये फिल्म बड़ी ऑडियंस के लिए होगी

Ayushmann Khurrana is currently busy preparing for his film ‘Thamma’, which is going to be released this Diwali i.e. on 21st October. Ten days after the release of his horror comedy, Ayushmann will begin shooting for director Sooraj Barjatya’s family drama. At present the name of the film has not been decided. This film will be produced by Rajshree Production and Mahavir Jain Films.

A source said, after Sooraj Barjatya’s last film, Unchai (2022), Rajshri Productions has decided to join hands once again with Mahavir Jain Films.

Both Sooraj Barjatya and Mahavir Jain had a great time working with each other in ‘Unchai’ and hence, they decided to work together once again.

The source further added, “The film will go on floors from November 1. It is a romantic family entertainer and will have Sooraj Barjatya’s trademark stamp. Apart from Ayushmann, it also stars Sharvari.”

After ‘Nagjila’, this family entertainer is Mahavir Jain’s next big film. Starring Kartik Aryan, the film is directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and produced in association with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Meanwhile, Sharvari is also gearing up for the release of Alpha, the first female lead in Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, also starring Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol. It will release in theaters on Christmas this year.

Last week, Ayushmann Khurrana attended the first day of the Silver Jubilee Edition of FICCI Frames 2025. Here he confirmed for the first time that he has signed Sooraj Barjatya’s next film.

He said, ‘As far as my films are concerned, ‘Thamma’ is my first big Diwali release. After this I am doing a film with Sooraj Barjatya and Dharma Productions, which will also be for a bigger audience.’
