Union Home Minister Amit Shah has hailed the government’s major gains in the fight against Naxalism, declaring that key Naxal bases in Chhattisgarh are now terror-free. Shah asserted that South Bastar will soon be completely cleared of Naxal influence and reaffirmed the government’s target of achieving a “Naxal-Mukt Bharat” (Naxal-Free India) by March 2026.
