IT service provider company Wipro’s consolidated net profit in the July-September quarter increased by 1.2% on an annual basis to Rs 3,246 crore. It was Rs 3,209 crore in the same quarter last year.

Wipro today on Thursday (October 16) has released the results for the second quarter of the financial year 2026 (Q2FY26) i.e. July-September quarter.

3 big things related to Wipro’s results:

  • Wipro’s consolidated revenue increased 2% year-on-year to Rs 22,697 crore. The company’s revenue in the same quarter a year ago was Rs 22,302 crore.
  • Wipro’s attrition rate has increased from 14.5% to 14.9%. That means the number of employees has increased by 2,000 from the same quarter last year.
  • Wipro shares closed at Rs 253 today with a rise of 1.39%. Wipro shares have given a negative return of -15.52% to investors in this year. Its market cap is Rs 2.66 lakh crore.
