Anil, a resident of village Madanhedi, says that the photo of the dead body sent from Russia is not that of Sonu. Anil told that a letter was received from Russia, in which it was said about Sonu’s death.
But after seeing the photo the family refused to recognize him. He said that we believe that Sonu is alive. Until there is official confirmation from the government or embassy, we consider him alive.
The family members of Sonu, who had joined the Russian Army, came to meet SDM Narnaund.
The family took the MLA to Delhi for the third time
Along with Sonu, the village youth Aman is also said to be missing in Russia. The family members of both reached Delhi for the third time on Thursday along with MLA Jassi Petwad, so that they could meet External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. However the meeting was not possible.
The family has demanded the Central Government to reveal the truth of the case and trace the youth. Family members allege that both the youth were taken to Russia on the pretext of taking a foreign language course, where they were fraudulently recruited into the Russian Army and sent to the war in Ukraine.

Sonu had called for the last time on September 3 and told that he was being forcibly recruited and would soon be sent to war. After this, on September 19, a letter was received from Russia, in which it was told that he was missing since September 6 and now his body has been found. But the family says that the body described by the Russian army is that of someone else.
