PM Modi marked 25 years since taking oath as Gujarat’s Chief Minister, as he posted throwback images of his oath, also as the Prime Minister, expressing gratitude to India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday took to X to mark the 25th anniversary of his oath as Gujarat’s Chief Minister.
Sharing a picture from the day he took office in 2001, the Prime Minister reflected on his journey in public service and expressed gratitude to the people of India.
“On this day in 2001, I took oath as Gujarat’s Chief Minister for the first time,” PM Modi wrote.
“Thanks to the continuous blessings of my fellow Indians, I am entering my 25th year of serving as the head of a Government,” he mentioned.
“Through all these years, it has been my constant endeavour to improve the lives of our people and contribute to the progress of this great nation that has nurtured us all,” PM Modi added.
Alongside the throwback image of him taking the oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, PM Modi also shared a photograph of himself taking the oath as Prime Minister at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Before being elected as the Prime Minister of India, Modi served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014.
