UPSC NDA Result 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the written result of the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II), 2025. The exam was held on September 14, and the list of qualified candidates has been published on the UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the result PDF are now eligible for the next stage — the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview. Those who clear the SSB will secure admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 156th course and the 118th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), both scheduled to begin on July 2, 2026.

The SSB interview is considered a crucial stage, where candidates are assessed on leadership, decision-making skills, psychological fitness, and overall personality. Final selection for commissioning into the Armed Forces is based on performance in the written test, SSB interview, and a medical examination.

UPSC has also issued clear instructions for shortlisted candidates. Within two weeks of the result announcement, they must register on the Indian Army’s recruitment portal at joinindianarmy.nic.in.

This step is mandatory for scheduling the SSB interview. Candidates who are already registered on the portal do not need to register again. Details regarding the interview dates and venues will be shared via email by the respective SSB centres.

During the interview, candidates will have to produce original certificates of age and educational qualifications. UPSC has clarified that these documents should not be sent to the Commission directly.

For any queries related to the result or SSB process, candidates can contact the UPSC facilitation counter or use the helpline numbers mentioned in the official notification.

With the written exam results declared, the focus now shifts to the tough but decisive SSB interviews that will determine the future officers of the Indian Armed Forces.
