Former Nepal’s former PM KP Sharma Oli has been banned from leaving Kathmandu. These include former Home Minister Ramesh writer, Home Secretary Gokarna Mani Duwadi, Hut Raj Thapa, Head of Internal Intelligence Department, Chitra Rizal, the then District Magistrate of Kathmandu.

This decision has been taken by the Judicial Commission headed by retired Justice Gauri Bahadur Karki of the Supreme Court. The commission is investigating the firing during the GEN-Z movement.

Oli said- I will not run away from the country

Former Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli appeared publicly on Saturday 18 days after his resignation. He reached Bhaktapur at the party’s student organization program.

He resigned from the post on 9 September amidst the Genz protest. Oli was rescued by a helicopter by the Nepali army amidst violence across the country, then he was shifted to a temporary residence.

In the meeting, Oli said that we cannot go abroad by handing over the country to the government with a spectacle.

Oli alleged that the present government is not formed by the will of the public, but has been formed with the help of violence and sabotage. He claimed that his government had not ordered the police to shoot.

Oli complained that the government did not provide security despite being exposed and threatening the attack.

He said, “Now plans are being made to find out my new house on social media. What is the government waiting for?”

He also alleged that the government is now talking about snatching their facilities, stopping passports and sueing them.
