The Uddhav faction has filed a petition against the decision of Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar to declare the Shinde faction as the real Shiv Sena and the NCP’s Sharad faction has filed a petition against the decision to declare the Ajit faction as the real NCP.

CJI said- please do not give instructions to the court

The arguments in the Shiv Sena case were completed. After this, senior advocate NK Kaul was arguing on behalf of Ajit faction for the date on the petition of NCP (SP). Recently, the court had issued notice to Ajit Pawar and his 40 MLAs and sought a reply.

Kaul was asking for three weeks’ time to respond to the notice but the court gave him 10 days. Meanwhile, a lawyer appearing on behalf of the Uddhav faction started insisting on his arguments. He argued that the Maharashtra assembly elections are near, so a date should be given soon.

On this, the CJI said, please do not give instructions to the court. You come here and sit for a day and tell us which date you want. He said- You see what kind of work pressure is there on the court. Please come here and sit. Sit for a day. I tell you the truth that you will run to save your life.
