India Foreign Minister S.K. Jaishankar is on a US tour. He has come here mainly to attend the high level meeting of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA80). Such possibilities are being expressed that issues like H-1B visa and tariff have been discussed between the two. The two leaders met in January this year and the last year in Washington in July. This is the first meeting of the two leaders after the increased tension about business.

India-America Attempt to strengthen relationships
The aim of the meeting between the Foreign Minister of the two countries was to improve the relationship between Indo-US. Due to the tariff, the relationship between the two countries has come to an end and now it is a big shock for India to impose new fees imposed on H1B visas. Because a large number of professionals of India work in America under this visa.
However, there are also indications of improving relationships among the policies being brought by the Trump administration in the US. Both countries are working on bilateral trade agreement. For this, a delegation led by Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal is talking in Washington.
Jaishankar posted on social media platform X and wrote that in the morning US Secretary of State in New York Marco Rubio Has met Many important bilateral and global issues were discussed between the two leaders. During the conversation, it was agreed that it is necessary to maintain constant communication and contact for progress in primary areas.
Earlier, the US delegation also came to Delhi. According to the report of the Commerce Ministry, the meeting was positive and both sides agreed to complete the trade agreement as soon as possible.
India is trying to increase trade and technical cooperation by resolving disputes through diplomatic efforts. Through this meeting, efforts are being made to restore confidence in relations.
