The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has revised the state NEET UG 2025 round 2 counselling schedule after adding 200 MBBS and BDS seats. As per the official schedule, candidates can fill and lock their college choices starting today, September 15 up till September 18. To check the update schedule, students can visit the official website at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
The Bihar health department has recommended new seats for admission in the following institutions:
– Madhubani Medical College and Hospital (MMC), Madhubani: 100 Seats
– Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital (NSMCH), Bihta, Patna: 50 seats
– Himalaya Medical College and Hospital (HMCH), Paliganj, Patna: 50 seats
The official notice also mentioned that students wishing to participate in round 2 must submit the counselling fee and security deposit. After successful payment, they will be allowed to edit their college choices. If a candidate has already made the payment in round 1, the amount will be adjusted or refunded. However, if the balance payment is not completed, the counselling application will remain incomplete, and the earlier security deposit will be forfeited. The Bihar NEET UG 2025 second round seat allotment result date will be announced later.
Bihar NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Counselling: How To Fill Choices
Step 1. Visit the official website: bceceboard.bihar.gov.in
Step 2. Click on the UGMAC 2025 counselling link available on the homepage.
Step 3. Log in using your registered credentials.
Step 4. Pay the required counselling fee and security deposit, if not paid earlier.
Step 5. Access the choice filling section and select your preferred colleges and courses.
Step 6. Review and lock your choices.
Step 7. Download and save a copy of the submitted choices for future reference.
During the verification of round 1 allotments, seats of 49 candidates, including 22 from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, were cancelled. Their reservation category was reclassified as unreserved, and these seats have now been declared vacant. They will be re-allotted in round 2 on a merit-cum-choice basis. Candidates from SC, ST, Economically Backward Class (EBC), and Backward Class (BC) categories, whose reservation was changed to unreserved, also faced differences in counselling fees and security deposits, the notice further stated.
