An FIR was lodged against former Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Kathmandu on Saturday after the violence stopped.

Oli has resigned from his post on 9 September amidst heavy pressure. He has been under the security of the army since then.
At the same time, Sushila Karki took oath as the interim PM of Nepal on Friday. He has been given the responsibility of holding parliamentary elections by March 5, 2026.
