RRB Group D Exam Date: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the exam dates for the RRB Group D Recruitment 2025. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Level-1 posts will begin on November 17, 2025, and continue till December 2025. It will be conducted in multiple phases to accommodate the large number of candidates.
According to the notice issued by RRB, Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication will be performed at the examination centre. Thus, candidates must carry their original Aadhaar card or a printout of the e-verified Aadhaar card to the exam centre.
Candidates who have not previously verified their Aadhaar will need to authenticate their identity by logging in with their credentials on rrbapply.gov.in. Those who have completed Aadhaar verification while filling out the application form should ensure their Aadhaar is in an unlocked status in the UIDAI system before arriving at the examination centre to avoid inconvenience.
Candidates should closely monitor their respective regional RRB websites. The CBT will include questions from General Science, Mathematics, General Awareness, and General Intelligence & Reasoning, lasting 90 minutes with a negative marking of one-third for each incorrect answer.
RRB Group D Exam: Admit Card Date
The city intimation slip, which provides details about the exam city and date, will be issued approximately 10 days before the exam. The admit card or hall ticket will be available for download four days prior to the exam date. For instance, candidates scheduled to appear for the November 17 exam can expect their city slip on November 7 and the admit card by November 13. They must keep track of the official and regional websites for further updates on hall ticket.
RRB Group D Exam: Selection Process
The RRB Group D 2025 recruitment process will include the following stages:
Computer-Based Test (CBT): Candidates will first take the CBT, testing knowledge of Mathematics, General Science, General Awareness, and Reasoning.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates shortlisted from the CBT must pass the PET to demonstrate physical fitness according to RRB norms.
Document Verification (DV): Eligible candidates will undergo verification of educational certificates, identity proofs, and other required documents.
Medical Examination: Candidates will undergo a medical fitness test to ensure they are fit for railway duties.
