On the first trading day of the week, on today i.e. Monday, September 8, the Sensex is trading at 300 points at 81,000 levels. The Nifty also has a gain of 100 points, it is trading at the level of 24,830.

23 out of 30 shares of Sensex are rose and 7 decline. Shares of Tata Steel, Tata Motors and Mahindra have climbed 2%. Asian Paints, Titan and Sunforma shares decline.

The Nifty’s 50 has a rise in 34 shares and a decline in 16. NSE’s metal, auto and realty index have climbed. There is a decline in pharma, healthcare and consumer durables.

Global market boom

  • In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei is trading up to 43,630 up to 43,630 and Korea’s Kopy is trading at 3,211.
  • Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading up 0.33% above 25,500 and China’s Shanghai Composite climbing 0.072% to 3,815.
  • On September 5, the US Dow Jones closed down 0.48% at 45,401. Nasdaq Composite declined 0.034% and S&P 500 declined 0.32%.

On 5 September Domestic investors ₹ 1,821 Buy crores of shares

  • On 5 September, Foreign Investors (FIIs) sold shares worth 1,304.91 crores in the cash segment. At the same time, domestic investors (DIIs) made a net purchase of Rs 1,821.23 crore.
  • In August, foreign investors have sold shares worth ₹ 46,902.92 crore. At the same time, domestic investors made net purchases of Rs 94,828.55 crore during this period.

The market fluctuates more than 750 points on Friday

On the last trading day of the week, on Friday, September 5, the stock market fluctuated by more than 750 points. Finally, the Sensex closed 7 points at 80,711. The Nifty rose by 7 points, it closed 24,741.

14 out of 30 shares of Sensex rose, 16 declined. The shares of Mahindra, Maruti and Reliance closed up to 2%. A total of 7 shares, including shares of ITC, HCL Tech and TCS, declined by 2%.

28 out of 50 shares of Nifty declined and 22 declined. The NSE auto, media and metal index increased. IT, FMCG and Realty closed to 1.4%.
