People used to come here in large numbers to buy gifts, clothes and food items. But this time the circumstances have changed. There is neither the same crowd in the markets nor the hustle and bustle of festivals. Less people are going out for shopping, due to which the charm of the festival seems to be fading. UAE – There was a decrease in activity on the occasion of Eid. Gaza – Women were seen shopping. Iraq – People remembered Khamenei. Lebanon – People were seen roaming near the shelter. Turkey – People offering namaz on Eid. Britain – People offering namaz in large numbers on Eid. Pak-Afghan war stopped for 4 days. Pakistan and Afghanistan announced a temporary pause in the war on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The fight has been put on hold for 5 days. This step has been taken after appeals from Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar Nap said that this ceasefire will remain in force from the night of 18/19 March to the night of 23/24 March. However, in case of any cross-border attack, drone strike or terrorist incident in Pakistan, the operation will be resumed immediately. Special flights on Eid: According to the information, Air India and Air India Express will operate regular and special flights to UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman. According to the airlines, some flights are currently temporarily closed, but alternative arrangements are being made for the convenience of passengers. Both airlines also said that regular flights to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) and Muscat (Oman) will continue. This includes about 16 flights between India and Jeddah. Airlines say that considering the situation, future plans can be changed as per the need.
