Tech influencer Lamarr Wilson, who passed away at age 48 last month, has been confirmed to have died by suicide, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office. Wilson was found at a residence on Friday, November 21. The tragic news of his demise was later confirmed by his family via a Facebook update on Saturday, December 13.
Wilson’s last social media posts were shared on November 12.
Wilson gained popularity as a tech lifestyle influencer by sharing informative and entertaining videos about phones, computers, gaming systems, home devices, and other gadgets across various platforms. He amassed over 3 million followers and subscribers on his YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok pages.
On October 22, Wilson commemorated his most recent birthday by sharing a selfie and a personal update on Instagram.
“Today is my 48th birthday & I’m down 48 pounds! It shouldn’t take a health scare like I had this year to get your #%&$ together, but hey, it worked,” he began in the post’s caption. “I’m losing it all naturally, now that I figured out the discipline.”
