When Nepal’s famous model Anjana Lama’s maternal uncle was called and asked to come to her in -laws as soon as possible. As soon as the family arrived, a crowd of police and neighbors gathered outside the house. The in-laws were sitting at the door crying. Then a policeman reached Anjana’s father and asked him to walk in the room. As soon as Anjana’s father reached the room, Manjar was frightening. He immediately came out of there with his hands in his mouth.

In that random room, the corpse cut in many pieces of Anjana’s body was hanging from the bed. The head, with the help of only one vein, had a mere name. Half of Anjana’s body was hanging on the bed and half of the ground. His right hand was cut from the middle, which was cut off from the corpse at a distance of a few steps. A leg was also lying away from the torso. The room-bed was soaked in blood and also sprinkled everywhere on the walls. There was so much knife wounds on his face that the skin was not visible.

Anjana was a famous Nepal model, who was soon to shift to Canada with her husband. In such a situation, everyone’s question was that after entering his own house and room, who would have carried out such a gruesome murder and why?

Anjana Lama was born on 26 April 1995 in Hetoda, Nepal. Ajna, the biggest among the three siblings, was very beautiful to see. Anjana was in the 11th class when she met Prajwal Mahat through a common friend. Anjana Lama was of Tamang caste, while Prajwal was from Kshetra caste, who used to come in the upper cast. His family lived in Lalitpur, although he lived in Hetoda, 100 km away in connection with the job.

Despite the cast differences, the friendship of the two turned into love growing. After being in a relationship for about 2 years, both of them decided to marry. As soon as this news reached the family of both, there was a lot of uproar. Both families were against this marriage. To stop this marriage, the family imposed several restrictions on Anjana.

When both the families were against, Prajwal’s elder brother Ujjwal was the only person who helped both of them. He secretly came to Hetoda and married Anjana and Prajwal and persuaded his family to keep Anjana in Lalitpur’s house.

The family obeyed the elder son Ujjwal and gave Anjana a place in the house, but did not adopt him. On the other hand, as soon as the news of marriage was received, Anjana’s family completely stopped talking to her. Anjana’s in-laws had mother-in-law, Jeth Ujjwal, Ujjwal’s wife, her son.

Initially, Anjana’s family was not made at all, but over time they started adopting her. Meanwhile, Anjana was constantly trying to convince her parents. A few months later, he started talking to Anjana’s family. Meanwhile, to remove family differences, Anjana called her younger brother to Lalitpur to give better schooling and kept her in -laws. Due to this, the relationship between the two families started improving.

After a few months of marriage, Prajwal also got a good job. Everything was going well, meanwhile Anjana decided to start her own small business. This decision is because most of the people of the house lived out of the house throughout the day in connection with work. To remove boredom, Anjana opened a small beauty salon near the house. The in -laws who were once against Anjana were also supporting her work.

Anjana was extremely obsessed for her salon. At that time the ticket was in trend, then Anjana also started making tickets videos from her salon. The very beautiful Anjana’s ticket video started going viral soon. His popularity grew on social media so much that he started getting modeling offers. Many big brands used to collab with Anjana, while she also became part of many magazine shoots.

He also used to work in Nepal’s music video. In a video, Anjana’s brother Ujjwal did sound designing. He was a bright sound designer, although he had to stop work over time due to a hearing problem.

With the increasing popularity of Anjana, the financial condition of her in -laws was getting better. His mother-in-law also forgot all the grievances and adopted him. However, she did not like her Jethani i.e. Ujjwal’s wife. Everyone often used to go for a walk and posted photos-videos together.

After becoming famous in Nepal, Anjana thought why not get something big from here. When Anjana told this to her husband Prajwal, he was also happy with this idea. Both decided that they would shift to Canada. When he put this in front of the family, all were angry. The house started getting up again in the house and Anjana’s brother -in -law also started filling everyone’s ears against her. On the other hand, Ajna and Prajwal started depositing money to go to Canada.

Anjana used to get so much modeling projects that she had closed her parlor. In such a situation, she used to spend most of the time at home. When the in -laws’ attitude started getting worse for Anjana, he finally complained about it in his house. But the family members said that instead of helping him, he said that small things keep happening in the house, it should be adjusted a little.

It was just a few days that on May 9, suddenly Anjana’s mother -in -law called her mother and asked her to come home soon. On the call, he just said that there has been a big accident in the house, what was that accident, she was not ready to tell. When the family members panicked and called Prajwal, he too kept crying and could not tell anything.

All the concerns reached Lalitpur, the daughter’s in -laws, located 100 km from Hetoda. Usually this route is of 2 hours, but it took 6-8 hours to reach them due to traffic that day.

When those people arrived, there was a crowd outside the house. When he took the step, he saw that his younger brother living with Anjana was sitting near the door and crying bitterly. So some policemen came from inside and asked Anjana’s father to go inside. When he reached inside, the daughter’s body was lying in a blood -soaked room.

Seeing the condition of the corpse, the father shocked, the father who had wet from grinding told the policemen, the in -laws killed the daughter, arrest them. But then the policemen said that your daughter’s murderer has already confessed to the crime and the police is under arrest. He has also told that the family has nothing to do with this murder.

When the family asked who he is, he got the answer, Ujjwal, Anjana’s same brother -in -law, who had helped the most in her marriage. Hearing this, the family was shocked because Anjana used to praise Ujjwal only during a conversation with the family. She used to say that Ujjwal takes care of her most in the family.

In the police custody, Ujjwal said that he saw Anjana alone in the house at 1:30 pm on 9 May 2019. Her husband had gone to office in breakfast in the morning. The bright was standing in the balcony, when she saw Anjana out of the house and returned home in some time. When he came down, he saw that she was in her room. She usually used to close the door of the room, but the door of the room was open that day. He took Nepali Khukri (small meat cutting knife) from the room and reached Anjana’s room. Anjana was busy in the phone. He felt that Khukri was small, so he went quietly to the mother’s room, brought a big khukri from there. This time when he went to Anjana’s room, he looked back. Before she could understand anything, Ujjwal started attacking her with Khukri.

Ujjwal was attacking with so much agration that when Anjana raised her hand to save herself, she cut her hand, which fell nearby. When he tried to kill him by foot, he also cut his leg. He was constantly being attacked by Khukri. The body was almost sieve. Ujjwal stabbed the neck so many times that the neck was separated from the torso and hanged. There were also many blows on the face. Blood was blood on the bed and floor. He would kill him until his breath stopped. After this he again went to the mother’s room and told the whole story.

The mother immediately called the son Prajwal and then everyone informed the police. When asked what was the reason for the murder, everyone was surprised to hear what he told. Ujjwal said that he did not like Anjana’s friendly behavior. She used to do modeling wearing short clothes and talked to everyone. Even his wife did not like him. Apart from this, she had the most objection to the fact that Anjana was going to shift to Canada with Prajwal. Prajwal felt that Anjana would separate him from his brother, that is why he killed Anjana as soon as he got a chance.

This case remained in court for almost 2 years. Finally Ujjwal was sentenced to life imprisonment for killing Anjana. Meanwhile, Prajwal alone shifted to Canada and broke the relationship with the family.

To save Ujjwal, his family got this case re-owned and tried to prove that his mental balance was not good. However, despite this trial, the court upheld its decision.
