In a tragic incident, at least one person was killed, and several others were injured in a nitrogen gas blast near Amba Vilas Palace in Karnataka’s Mysuru on Thursday.
As per preliminary information, the incident took place near the Jaya Marthanda Gate of the historic palace when a nitrogen gas-filled balloon exploded while being inflated, Publictv reported.
The force of the blast was severe, causing severe injuries to those present at the site.
The injured persons were rushed to a nearby hospital, where their condition is reported to be critical.

Following the incident, police cordoned off the palace premises and launched a probe to ascertain the exact cause of the blast.
