The Supreme Court on Monday refused to hear the petition to ban porn videos. During this, the court cited the Gen-Z demonstration that took place in Nepal in September. Said- Just see what happened after banning social media apps in Nepal.
However, the bench headed by Chief Justice BR Gavai said that the pornography ban petition will be heard after 4 weeks. Let us tell you that before that, Gavai is retiring from his post on 23rd November.
In fact, the petition had demanded the Central Government to make a national policy to ban obscene content (pornography). Also, take necessary action to ensure that this content does not reach children. Videos should be removed from public platforms.
