Union Minister Scindia announced new services of speed post in Pichhor.
Union Minister and Guna MP Jyotiraditya Scindia announced speed posts 24 and 48 in Shivpuri. Earlier, this service used to take 3–5 days for delivery, but with the implementation of the new initiative, parcels and documents will be able to reach consumers in 24 or 48 hours.

Scindia said, “This initiative is a major step towards establishing the Department of Posts as a fast, modern and reliable logistics network. Timely delivery is a must for every business and citizen today. Speed Posts 24 and 48 will be opened keeping this need in mind.”
On this occasion, local public representatives congratulated Scindia.
Benefits for common citizens and businessmen Scindia said that with the implementation of this service, e-commerce companies, traders, government departments and common citizens will directly benefit. Small traders and entrepreneurs will now be able to expand their business through faster delivery at lower costs.
Scindia laid the foundation stone and performed the bhoomi pujan of the new state-of-the-art sub-post office building.
Post Office Renovation and New Building On this occasion, the renovation of Pichor sub-post office was inaugurated, which cost about Rs 2 lakh. Besides, the foundation stone and bhoomi pujan of the new state-of-the-art sub-post office building to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1.11 crore was also performed. The new building will have modern counters, digital transaction facilities, better waiting rooms, well-organized workplace for employees and disabled-friendly arrangements.
India Post is no longer limited to just letter delivery Scindia said that today India Post is not limited to letter delivery, rather it has become a powerful medium to connect rural and urban India through banking, insurance, Aadhaar, digital payments, parcel and logistics services. The government aims to develop post offices as “one-stop service centres”.

When encroachment was removed in Shivpuri in 40 minutes, clapped for Collector-SDM
Complained about encroachment on the sports ground in front of Scindia in Goratila of Kolaras assembly constituency of Shivpuri district. Scindia said that he had already received information about encroachment on the playground and the Collector had been instructed to remove the encroachment within a week. However, Kolaras SDM Anup Srivastava announced on the stage that the encroachment has already been removed from the play ground.
