Actress Anupama Parameswaran has filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Police of Kerala regarding cyber bullying. In the complaint, he said that a 20-year-old girl from Tamil Nadu was sharing wrong and objectionable posts about him and his family on social media.
Anupama said that the girl created several fake Instagram profiles and spread falsehoods and inflammatory comments in her name.
Anupama said in an official statement, “A few days ago, I saw that an Instagram profile was posting extremely false and misleading things about me, my family and my friends. These posts included morphed photos and made false allegations. It was very disturbing to see this.”

On Sunday, Anupama informed about filing the complaint on Instagram.

The actress told that as soon as she came to know about this, she immediately contacted the authorities. He said, “As soon as I got the information, I lodged a complaint. The cyber crime police acted swiftly and with their help the accused was identified.”

Confirming the legal action, Anupama said that they have decided not to reveal the identity of the accused as she is young in age. He said that his intention is not to harm the future or mental health of that girl.
Talking about online abuse, he said, “Just owning a smartphone or using social media does not give anyone the right to troll, defame or spread hatred against others. There is a record of every online activity and accountability will be fixed. We have started the legal process and whoever did this will have to face the consequences.”
He also said that being an actor or a public figure does not take away anyone’s rights. Cyber bullying is a crime and requires accountability.
Let us tell you that Anupama made her debut in 2015 with the Malayalam film Premam. After this she appeared in films like Kodi, Aa Aa, Tej I Love You, Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi, Shatmanana Bhavati, Dragon, Eagle and Butterfly.
