Mahhi Vij is in the headlines these days after announcing her divorce from actor Jai Bhanushali. Meanwhile, the actress has told that Nadeem, who is close to Salman Khan, is her best friend. Mahi has shared an emotional post saying that Nadeem is her biggest support system and always supports her.
Mahi Vij shared pictures of Nadeem’s birthday celebration from her official social media account on Saturday and wrote in an emotional manner,
Happy birthday to the person whom I have chosen not by chance, but with my heart. For the one who understands me even when I don’t say anything. For the one who stands with me not because he has to, but because he wants to. You are my family, my safe place, my forever.
Mahi Vij further wrote, ‘You are not just my best friend, you are my comfort, my strength, my home. With you I can remain as I am. Broken, happy, emotional, incomplete and yet completely accepted, completely loved. Yes, sometimes we get angry. Yes, sometimes we fight. Ha, sometimes we don’t talk for days. But no matter how long the silence lasts, it always ends at the same place, us. Because somewhere we both know that Nadeem and Mahi are one.
At the end of her long post, Mahi Vij has written, ‘Our souls are connected in such a way that words can never express completely. Life hasn’t always been easy, but your presence makes everything lighter, stronger and better. When I am weak you hold my hand. When I forget to believe in myself, you believe in me. And you love me in a way that heals the parts of me I didn’t even realize were broken. I love you, Nadeem, not just because of who you are, but because of how you make me feel, the way you stand by me, the way you are my heart, my home, my family. Even today, and always.’
Divorce announced on January 4
Jai and Mahi announced their divorce on January 4 through official Instagram. In a post he wrote,
Today we are choosing different paths in the journey of life, but we will continue to support each other. Peace, progress, kindness and humanity have always been a part of our thinking. We will remain good parents and good friends to our children Tara, Khushi and Rajveer. Will try his best to do whatever is right for him.
He further wrote, ‘Now our paths are different, but there is no villain in this story nor are there any negative emotions associated with this decision. Before jumping to any conclusions, please understand that we have chosen peace and understanding over drama and unrest in every situation. We will continue to respect each other, support each other and remain friends as we always have been. Expecting respect, love and kindness from you all moving forward.- Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali.
Jai and Mahi were married in the year 2011. Both of them adopted their house help’s children Rajveer and Khushi in 2017. Two years later, in 2019, Mahi gave birth to daughter Tara.
