Actor Rajesh Kumar recently told that the entire cast of the TV show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai had performed Pind Daan in Gaya for late actor Satish Shah because he had no children. While talking to Bollywood Bubble, Rajesh Kumar described Satish Shah as a very lively and positive person. He said that despite serious health problems, he never let his pain affect his behavior or work. According to Rajesh, Satish Shah was on dialysis and had also undergone kidney transplant, but he never showed despair. He was greatly inspired by Shammi Kapoor, who did not lose courage even at the last moment of his life. Satish Shah was cheerful till his last days. Rajesh said that Satish Shah was in a normal and cheerful mood even a few days before his death. The actor said, “I spoke to him four days ago and he was still cheerful and full of energy.” Regarding Pind Daan, Rajesh Kumar said that he is from Gaya, where this tradition is followed. Since Satish Shah was childless, the entire team of the show together performed Pinda Daan for him. It was an emotional decision. Satish Shah died in October 2025. Satish Shah died on 25 October 2025 in Mumbai at the age of 74. Initially, there was talk of kidney failure regarding Shah’s death. However, Rajesh Kumar later clarified that he died due to a heart attack. Satish Shah was a well-known name in the film and TV industry. He gained recognition with projects like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro. Apart from this, he was also seen in the films Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Main Hoon Na, Ra.One and Ishq Vishk.
