शाहरुख के मन्नत जाकर असहज हो गए थे गुलशन देवैया: बोले- वहां सिर्फ बड़ी हस्तियां मौजूद थीं, मुझे लगा मैं वहां से बिलॉन्ग नहीं करता

Actor Gulshan Devaiah, in one of his recent interviews, has told an incident related to Shahrukh Khan’s Mannat. Referring to a party held at Mannat, the actor told how Shahrukh and Gauri welcomed him warmly but he felt uncomfortable going there.

In an interview given to Bollywood Bubble, Gulshan was asked about a news related to him, in which it was written that he had tried to enter Shahrukh’s Mannat.

On this Gulshan says- ‘I did not enter, they took me away. If I had entered the house, Guru would have been in jail right now. If I had entered Shahrukh Khan’s house, would I be roaming free right now?

In the same interview, he again tells the whole story of going to Mannat – ‘It is about the year 2012 Filmfare. Nomination announcement was taking place. Shahrukh Khan also came to that program. My name was also to be announced but it could not happen because of Manish Paul.

He was hosting the show and he is a big fan of Madhuri Dixit, so he spent half the show with Madhuri ji. I was sitting with Kalki and Anurag Kashyap.

Shahrukh came and invited Kalki-Anurag to come to Mannat after the party. Anurag said that our friends are also with us and Shahrukh said that everyone is welcome.

I, my wife and everyone went in Kalki’s Swift car. I stayed at the party for about three hours, but I felt very uncomfortable. I felt like I didn’t belong there. That feeling was the biggest realization for me that I should not feel as if I do not belong here. Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, everyone was there.

The actor further said- ‘Shahrukh and Gauri Khan treated me very well, although it is not their job to make me feel comfortable.’ Talking about Gulshan’s work front, he was recently seen in ‘Kantara Chapter-1’.
