The first look of the suspense-thriller web series ‘Rakh’ has been released at the ‘Prime Video 2026’ event held in Mumbai. Ali Fazal and Sonali Bendre will be seen in lead roles in this series.

Ali Fazal will be seen in police uniform for the first time
Ali Fazal shared his experience during the series event. Ali told that he is playing the role of a police officer for the first time in his career. Ali said, “I have never played a cop on screen before. This is a very interesting timeline that I have been a part of. It is a very fresh and completely new experience for me.”
Sonali said- I said yes as soon as I heard the story.
Actress Sonali Bendre also looked very excited about this project. He highly praised the script of the show. Sonali said, “When writers Anusha and Sandeep narrated the story to me, I was completely engrossed in it. The story was so powerful that even if I had got a chance to just stand in the background, I would have said yes to it.”
Story of missing children in the series
The story of the series revolves around a town, from where two teenagers suddenly disappear. This incident shatters a family and creates an atmosphere of fear in the entire city. As per the show’s synopsis, a fearless police officer launches a nationwide manhunt to unearth the truth.
This quest takes him into a dark world of violence and human cruelty that no one could have imagined.
Anusha and Sandeep have directed
This series has been written and directed together by Anusha Nandkumar and Sandeep Saket. Apart from Ali Fazal and Sonali Bendre, veteran actors like Aamir Bashir, Divyendu Bhattacharya and Rakesh Bedi will also be seen in ‘Rakh’. This series will be streamed on Prime Video in the year 2026.
