South actor Vijay Thalapathy’s film Jana Nayakan is going to be released in theaters on January 9 on the occasion of Pongal. This will be the last film of the actor’s career. Advance booking has started a few days before the release of the film.
Advance booking for ‘Jana Nayakan’ has started in Karnataka, and most of the tickets for the morning show have already been sold.
At the same time, in Bengaluru, tickets for the special morning show of Tamil film are sold for up to two thousand rupees. At many places the ticket price went up to Rs 1,000.

There is a show at 6:30 am on the day of the film’s release at Mukunda Theatre, Bengaluru, with tickets priced at Rs 1800 and Rs 2000. All tickets have been sold out on ticket booking site BookMyShow.
At the same time, booking for Jana Nayakan has not yet started in Tamil Nadu, and as per the report of Sacknilk, the filmmakers are still waiting for the censor certificate from the Central Board of Certification (CBFC). According to reports, CBFC has suggested some changes in the film. At present, booking of the film has started in Karnataka, Kerala and Overseas.
Let us tell you that actor Thalapathy Vijay had announced his retirement from 33 years long acting career on December 28. Vijay made this announcement during the audio launch of director H. Vinod’s film Jana Nayakan in Malaysia.
He is currently 51 years old and Jan Nayakan will be his last film. He said from the stage that now he will concentrate completely on politics.
He told that last year he had formed his political party Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam and now his party will also contest the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections to be held in 2026.

While addressing the fans, Vijay had said – “Only one thing matters to me. People come to the theater and stand in queues for me. That’s why I want to stand for them for the next 30-33 years. It is for these fans of mine that I am retiring from cinema.”
Talking about Vijay’s career, he started his career as a child artiste at the age of 10 with the Tamil film Vetri. At the age of 18, he debuted as a hero in the film Naalaiya Theerpu (1992). Vijay, who has worked in 68 films so far, has given blockbuster hits like ‘Master’ and ‘Theri’ in his career. Vijay’s last film Jan Nayakan is the 69th film of his career.
