A construction site in Hong Kong’s Quarti Bay has found a US bomb weighing 1000 pounds (about 450 kg) of World War-2.
The bomb was about 5 feet long and was found buried in the ground. The area is surrounded by residential and commercial buildings, where a sudden danger atmosphere was created.
The administration immediately took out about 6 thousand people safely from about 1900 houses in the area. Experts successfully deactivated the bomb.
It has been almost 80 years since the second world war has ended, but its remains still remain a threat in many parts of the world.
