Australia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and many European countries supported the demand for ceasefire. In the meeting, France said that it is necessary to stop the war in Lebanon, otherwise it can further increase the war in the Middle East. This can be stopped through diplomacy.

Biden said- ceasefire is necessary for the safety of the people
Regarding the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, President Biden said that the time has come for it. This is necessary for the people to return home safely. He sought the support of the Israeli and Lebanese governments for the ceasefire. However, so far Hezbollah, Lebanon or Israel have not responded to the ceasefire.
According to the New York Times, US officials hope that if the war between Hezbollah and Israel stops, it will also have an impact on the ongoing fighting in Gaza. The fighting has been going on in Gaza for about a year.
