The ministry said- 1856 meters high craseninicov volcano spread to an altitude of 6 thousand meters after an eruption. Due to this, the air space of this area was closed.
Scientists believe that this explosion may be related to the 8.8 magnitude earthquake in the Kamchatka Island, Russia, 4 days ago.

This volcano is in the Kronotsky Nature Reserve on the east coast of Kamchka Island.

According to media reports, the last time exploded here in 1463. Since then it was calm for about 600 years.

The Russian Emergency Ministry has given it a “Orange Aviation Code”, which means a threat to the aircraft.

The earthquake came in the Kuril-Kamchakat subduction zone, which is part of the ring of fire.

The Emergency Ministry of Russia has advised people not to go near the volcano.
