Russia’s Defense Ministry said that Russian troops have moved to counter Ukrainian troops in Kursk province. The Russian army is deploying rocket launchers, artillery guns and tanks to deal with the Ukrainian troops. These are being transported to the area.

Ukraine targets Russian airfield
On Thursday night, Ukraine targeted an airfield 300 km from the border in Russia’s Lipetsk province using a drone. This military airfield was the base for Russian fighter jets, helicopters and more than 700 powerful glide bombs.
Russia used this airfield to operate fighter aircraft like Sukhoi and MiG. In a statement issued by Russia after the attack, it was said that it had shot down more than 75 drones of Ukraine. Of these, 19 were in Lipetsk province.

There has been no statement from Ukrainian officials so far regarding the intrusion of soldiers. However, the area where Ukrainian soldiers have intruded has important Russian gas pipelines. Russia transports natural gas through these pipelines.
On Thursday, an advisor to Ukrainian President Zelensky said that Russia will now understand that the war is now reaching inside its land as well. Advisor Myhailo Podolyak also said that this move of the Ukrainian army will help Ukraine during negotiations and agreements with Russia.
11 Ukrainian civilians killed in Russian attack
Russia has attacked a Ukrainian mall with a missile. In this attack, 11 Ukrainian citizens have died, while more than 40 are injured. This mall is located in the city of Kostiantynivka in the eastern Donetsk province. After the attack, a cloud of black smoke also rose in the area.
This is Russia’s second attack on a crowded place within a year. Earlier, Russia had targeted a market in September last year. 17 people lost their lives in this attack.
