Ram Kapoor has been removed from the promotion of the upcoming series Mistry due to controversial and ugly comments in the promotional event. He also compared the work to gangrape during an event and also made objectionable remarks on the woman’s dress of the PR team. After which Jio Hotstar has decided to keep him away from promotion.
The Mid Day report quoted Sutra associated with Jio Hotstar as saying that Ram Kapoor and Mona Singh reached JW Marriott Hotel in Mumbai for promotion. Here the tone of Ram Kapoor’s voice and his jokes were quite unprofessional. He had to give back-to-back interviews. In such a situation, when a female reporter reached to set the mike in his clothes, he said that it seems that gang rape is happening.

The series Mistry will be released on Jio Hotstar on 27 June.
The report quoted the executive of Jio Hotstar as saying that during a conversation with Jio Hotstar’s PR team, Ram Kapoor, seeing a woman’s dress, said that she is very distracted. After receiving the complaint from the team, the HR team of Jio Hotstar discussed the subject and decided that now Ram Kapoor will be kept away from the promotion of the series. They will not be allowed to participate in any promotional activity. Now Mona Singh will promote alone.
