Yash Raj Films (YRF) has announced the release date of the film Mardaani 3 on Saturday. This film starring Rani Mukherjee will be released on January 30.
YRF’s Mardaani is a solo female lead franchise of Hindi cinema. In Mardaani 3, Rani Mukherjee will once again be seen in the role of police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy, who fights selflessly for justice.
YRF announced the release date of the film on Instagram and also shared its poster. It also read, “She won’t stop until she saves them all. Rani Mukherjee is back as fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy in Mardaani 3. Rescue hits theaters near you on January 30.”
Let us tell you that Mardaani 3 has been directed by Abhiraj Minawala and the film has been produced by Aditya Chopra.
The first part of Mardaani was released on 22 August 2014, directed by Pradeep Sarkar. The film earned around Rs 35 to 36 crore nett in India, while the worldwide collection stood at around Rs 59.55 crore. This film proved to be a hit at the box office.
After this, Mardaani 2 was released on 13 December 2019. This film was directed by Gopi Putharan. Mardaani 2 grossed around Rs 47.51 crore nett in India and did a worldwide business of around Rs 67.12 crore. This film was also a hit at the box office.
