Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer film Sikandar was the biggest flop of the year 2025. The film performed very poorly at the box office and could not even recover its cost. Now the film’s heroine Rashmika Mandanna has talked about the flop of the film. Rashmika recently spoke to Telugu journalist Prema about Sikandar. Talking about the film, he said, “What happened later was completely different, but when I heard the script, it was really different. But this happens often in films. When you hear something, it is a different story. But during the making of the film, things change according to the performance, editing and the time of release. This is very common. Same thing happened with Sikandar.” Let us tell you that after the flop of Sikandar, the film’s director AR Murugadoss had blamed language and Salman Khan. He had said in one of his interviews that working with stars is not easy. Even for day scenes, we had to shoot at night, because he used to come on the set at 8 pm. We are those people. We are used to shooting from the morning, but this did not happen there. Talking about language, he said- ‘Working in my mother tongue Tamil is my biggest strength because I know what works here. Young audiences can be attracted by using trending captions and dialogues on social media. But unfortunately, I can’t do it in other languages especially Hindi. There I can depend only on the screenplay for the success of the film. Salman had taunted Murugadoss while reacting to these allegations in ‘Bigg Boss 19’. Salman had said that he used to come late because he had a broken rib and was receiving death threats, which required security. Then the actor mentioned Murugadoss’s film ‘Madrasi’ and said that it was a bigger blockbuster than ‘Sikander’ and in that the actor used to come at 6 in the morning, yet the film was successful, whereas the plot of ‘Sikander’ was good.
