He said that he used to get angry before watching the film, because even before this, films like ‘Kashmir Files’ had been wrongly called propaganda. He said that those who are calling Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 as propaganda should be ashamed of their words. If someone does not like such a film, then they should make such a film themselves, invest money in it and work with good writers. According to Anupam Kher, this film shows the story of modern India. There is definitely drama in it, but through it the strong system of the country and the strength of the people have been shown. He said that the film also shows how hard and precise India’s intelligence agencies like IB and RAW do their work. He further said that today we are very fortunate to live in a country where the system is strong and the country is safe. Ranveer Singh’s acting was described as superb. Praising the climax of the film especially, Anupam Kher said that the last half hour is very spectacular and breath-taking. He described Ranveer Singh’s acting as outstanding and said that depth and emotions are clearly visible in his performance.
