Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan has refused to do a cameo in Rajinikanth’s film ‘Jailor 2’. According to the report of Pinkvilla, Shahrukh currently wants to concentrate completely on his upcoming film ‘King’. He does not want to be seen on the big screen in any film before the release of ‘King’. Shahrukh has politely rejected this offer after talking to Rajinikanth and the makers of the film. The decision was taken because of the debut of daughter Suhana. The film ‘King’ is special for Shahrukh Khan in many ways. His daughter Suhana Khan is going to make her debut on the big screen through this film. According to reports, the makers of ‘Jailor 2’ wanted Shahrukh to shoot a cameo for 5 days. Shahrukh also liked this idea, but he wants to maintain the exclusivity of ‘King’. Shahrukh has a special look in ‘King’ and he does not want his same look to be seen in any other movie before that film. The makers of the film ‘Jailor 2’ are planning to release it in August 2026, while Shahrukh’s film ‘King’ is scheduled for December 2026. Due to the different timelines of both the films, Shahrukh and the makers decided to part ways with mutual consent. Shahrukh himself spoke to Rajinikanth on phone and expressed his respect for him. Shahrukh assured that he would always be ready to work with her in future. The work of Rajinikanth’s film is almost complete. The work of ‘Jailor 2’ being made under the direction of Nelson Dilip Kumar is going on at a very fast pace. Rajinikanth himself had confirmed in April 2026 that the shooting of the film is almost complete and now it is in the final phase of post-production. After Shahrukh’s refusal, now the makers are considering the name of another big actor for this special cameo. A big star cast will be seen in ‘King’. Apart from Shahrukh and Suhana, actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Arshad Warsi will be seen in the film ‘King’ directed by Siddharth Anand. Shahrukh is very serious about this project and does not want to leave any stone unturned in the launch of his daughter.
