Threat of attack on Russia’s Kursk nuclear power plant
Due to the Ukrainian attack, the nuclear power plant in Kursk province is in danger. Actually, this plant is about 60 km away from the city of Sudja. Meanwhile, the Chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, has issued a warning. He has appealed to both the countries to be cautious so that a nuclear accident can be prevented.
Earlier, on August 8, an emergency was imposed in the Kursk-Oblast province after Ukrainian troops entered. This military airfield was the base of Russia’s fighter jets, helicopters and more than 700 powerful glide bombs.

Russia has sent several armoured vehicles and rocket launchers to stop the Ukrainian army.
Ukraine targets Russian airfield
Russia used this airfield to operate fighter aircraft like Sukhoi and MiG. In a statement issued by Russia after the attack, it was said that it had shot down more than 75 drones of Ukraine. Of these, 19 were in Lipetsk province.
