1. Seat sharing decided between MVA, Congress will contest on 100-105 seats, Shiv Sena Uddhav on 96-100 and NCP Sharad on 80-85 seats.

An agreement has been reached on seat sharing between the constituent parties of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) for 288 seats of Maharashtra Assembly. According to sources, Congress can contest on 100 to 105 seats, Uddhav Bala Saheb Thackeray’s Shiv Sena on 96 to 100 seats, while NCP (Sharad Chandra Pawar) can contest on 80 to 85 seats. This formula has been decided on the basis of victory in the Lok Sabha elections. Samajwadi Party (SP) has asked for 12 seats. Candidates will be announced today.
Shinde faction declared candidates: Here, Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) has declared candidates for 45 seats. CM Eknath Shinde will contest from Kopri Pachpakhadi, while minister Uday Samant will contest from Ratnagiri. BJP had also released the first list of 99 candidates on October 21. 2. MP government announces one lakh jobs, ₹10 lakh fund for children of rape victims Government recruitment for one lakh posts has been announced in the cabinet meeting chaired by Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav. The recruitment process will start by December 2024.
3. BJP-TMC MPs clash in JPC meeting on Waqf Bill, Kalyan Banerjee breaks bottle
After treatment, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi was seen taking Banerjee back to the meeting room.
There was a heated debate between Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Kalyan Banerjee and BJP MP Abhijit Gangopadhyay in the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) meeting on the Waqf Bill. During this, Banerjee picked up the glass bottle kept in front and threw it on the table. According to PTI, he also threw a broken bottle at JPC Chairman BJP MP Jagdambika Pal, although she was saved.
Banerjee suspended for a day: Due to this behavior of Banerjee, he was suspended for a day. Banerjee’s thumb and finger were injured by breaking the bottle. He was given first aid and got 4 stitches. 4. President of Karni Sena said – Will give ₹ 1.11 crore reward to the policeman who encounters Lawrence
Karni Sena president has announced a reward for Lawrence’s encounter. Shekhawat said, ‘I only know that our most respected Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was murdered by Lawrence Bishnoi. The policeman who will encounter Lawrence Bishnoi. He will be given a cash prize of Rs 1 crore 11 lakh 11 thousand 111. Former national president of Karni Sena, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, was murdered on 5 December 2023. Lawrence Gang had claimed responsibility for the murder on social media.
Gogamedi’s wife said this personal statement: Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi’s wife Sheela Shekhawat said, ‘Raj Singh Shekhawat has given the statement regarding Lawrence’s encounter. That is his personal side. There cannot be an encounter or any such incident as per the legal process, which he has demanded. Sukhdev Singh was of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena of Gogamedi. 5. Blast in Jabalpur’s ordnance factory, two employees killed; Accident during bomb filling
Two employees died and more than 10 people sustained burn injuries in the blast that took place at Jabalpur’s Ordnance Factory Khamaria (OFK). The accident took place in building number 200 of F-6 section of the factory. Bomb filling work was going on here, when suddenly there was a blast in the hydraulic system.
When was OFK established: Ordnance Factory Khamaria is an ammunition production unit under the Defense Production Department. It was established in 1943 during World War II. After independence, the production range of the factory was increased. The factory was expanded to meet the demand of the Army during the China War in 1962 and the Pakistan War in 1965 and 1971. 6. PM Modi-Putin meeting in Russia, Modi said- Russia-Ukraine war will stop only through talks
This is PM Modi’s second visit to Russia within 4 months. Earlier, Modi had gone to Russia in July.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reached Russia’s Kazan city to attend the BRICS Summit, met Russian President Putin. Putin said, ‘Our relations are so good that you understand what I say without a translator. At the same time, Prime Minister Modi maintained India’s stand on the Ukraine war. Modi-Jinping meeting today: There will be a bilateral meeting between PM Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping today. Both the leaders will meet after 2 years. 7. Eyewitness of Kashmir attack said- Two terrorists came covered with shawls, killed the workers eating food in the mess. An eyewitness to the terrorist attack that took place on October 20 in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir has come forward. Eyewitness told Jammu and Kashmir Police that a camp was built for the laborers to live near the tunnel construction site of Srinagar-Leh National Highway in Gangangir. A complaint of fraud was filed against fake judge Morris Samuel in 2015.
