1. Modi celebrated Diwali among the soldiers for the 11th time, reached Kutch, Gujarat; Went to Jammu and Kashmir maximum 4 times

2. Nepal gave the contract for printing notes to a Chinese company, 3 Indian areas are included in the map on the note.
Nepal’s central bank ‘Nepal Rastra Bank’ has given a contract to a Chinese company to print new Nepali notes of Rs 100. This company will print 30 crore copies of Nepali notes. This will cost around 75 crore Indian rupees. That means the cost of printing 1 Nepali note of 100 rupees will be around 2.50 Indian rupees.
Claimed the areas of India as their own: In the map made on the notes, Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura and Kalapani areas of India have been shown as part of Nepal. There is a dispute between India and Nepal regarding this area for about 35 years. Earlier, Nepal had released a new political map of the country on 18 June 2020. In this too, all three areas of India were shown as part of Nepal. For this, Nepal had also changed the constitution. Then the Indian government had opposed this step of Nepal.
3. Spain faces worst flood in 50 years, 95 deaths; 3 days national mourning in the country
This flood in Spain has broken the record of 28 years. Earlier such flood had occurred in the country in 1996. Then 87 people died.
95 people have died due to floods in Spain. The city of Valencia has been most affected. 92 people have died here. Officials say the death toll could rise as many people are missing. According to BBC, this is the highest death toll due to floods in Spain in 50 years. Earlier in the year 1973, 150 people had died due to flood.
Devastation occurred in just half an hour: According to the Meteorological Department, more than 12 inches of rain fell in a few hours at many places in eastern Spain on Wednesday. An official said that in just half an hour there was devastation in the city. The situation is so bad that a court had to be converted into a temporary morgue. Following the disaster, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has declared 3 days of national mourning.
4. The person who threatened to kill Salman was arrested, the 56-year-old accused had demanded ₹ 2 crore.
Mumbai Police has arrested the accused of threatening to murder Salman Khan and demanding ransom of Rs 2 crore. He has been identified as 56 year old Azam Mohammad Mustafa. The accused is a resident of Bandra, Mumbai. He had sent a message to the Mumbai Traffic Police on Wednesday that if the money was not paid, the actor would be killed.
Threat was also received on 25th October: Even 7 days ago, Salman was threatened to be killed in the same manner. The accused was arrested by Mumbai Police from Noida on Tuesday. He was identified as Mohammad Tayyab (20).
5. Maharashtra Elections – BJP candidate from Ghatkopar East is the richest, Parag Shah is owner of ₹ 3,383 crores.
