1. Poll of polls of Haryana and J&K elections: Congress returns in 13 exit polls of Haryana, Congress-NC government in 10 exit polls of J&K.

The results of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections will come on October 8. But according to the exit polls of different agencies that came before that, Congress seems to be making a comeback in Haryana after 10 years. The party is expected to get 57 seats. BJP may be reduced to 28 seats, far from majority. The National Conference (NC)-Congress alliance is expected to come to power in Jammu and Kashmir. The alliance may get 41 seats. BJP may be reduced to 28 seats. PDP will get 10 seats and others will get 11 seats.

What Bhaskar Reporters Poll Says: Apart from Bhaskar Reporters Survey, 12 survey agencies have conducted exit polls in Haryana. Apart from Bhaskar Reporters, 9 agencies have also conducted exit poll in Jammu and Kashmir. According to Bhaskar Reporters Poll, Congress is likely to get 44 to 54 seats in Haryana, while BJP is likely to get 19 to 29 seats. 2. 61% voting in Haryana Assembly elections: Clash in Nuh-Hisar; Vinesh accused of booth capturing According to the Election Commission, 61% voting took place on 90 seats in Haryana. 68.20% votes were cast in the 2019 elections. The highest 69.9% voting took place in Yamunanagar, while the lowest voting took place in Gurugram at 49.97%. The result will come on 8th October. Violence took place at 3 places in Nuh and Hisar. At the same time, BJP accused Congress candidate Vinesh Phogat of booth capturing in Jind. Vinesh has denied the allegations.

Jaishankar said – Not going to talk to Pakistan, the visit will be only for SCO summit Foreign Minister S Jaishankar gave a statement regarding attending the SCO summit to be held in Pakistan on 15-16 October. Jaishankar said, ‘I am going to attend a multilateral event there. Not going to talk about India-Pakistan relations. I am a decent man so I will behave well when I go there. This will be the first time that an Indian minister will visit Pakistan since Sushma Swaraj’s visit in 2015.

4. 10 year old girl raped and then murdered in Bengal; Angry mob beats policemen, burns police post

The incident took place in Kripakhali of South 24 Parganas. In protest against the incident, people beat up the policemen and set a police post on fire.

The body of a 10-year-old girl was found in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The family says that the girl has been raped. She was missing since the evening of 4 October. In protest against the incident, people vandalized the Mahismari police post and set it on fire. State BJP Chief Sukant Majumdar said, ‘Mamata government is not able to protect women.’
