मुमताज को नहीं मिली धर्मेंद्र से मिलने की इजाजत: हॉस्पिटल गई थीं एक्ट्रेस, वैंटिलेटर पर थे धर्मेंद्र, आधे घंटे इंतजार कर बिना मिले लौटना पड़ा

Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra passed away on 24 November. The actor was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on October 10, after which he was put on a ventilator. Now actress Mumtaz, who has done many films with him, has told that she had gone to the hospital to meet Dharmendra, but she was not allowed to meet him there.

In a recent interview given to E-Times, Mumtaz has said, I went to the hospital to meet him (Dharmendra), but the staff told me that he is on ventilator and no one is allowed to meet him. I sat there for 30 minutes in the hope that I would meet him, but it did not happen. Then I returned from there without meeting him.

Mumtaz often used to go to Dharmendra’s bungalow to meet him.

In the conversation, the senior actress said, ‘We have worked together in some films and he was a great co-star. A very nice person, who had a heart of gold. He was very outgoing, warm and friendly. Used to connect with everyone. Even till the end he had great affection for the people. They all love him and always will. He was a legend who will always be remembered.

Mumtaz further said, ‘I feel bad for his family and for Hema ji. She worshiped him. He must have been deeply shocked by this loss. She loved him very much.

Let us tell you that Mumtaz has done many films with Dharmendra like 1969 films Do Raaste, Jaal, 1973 film Loafer including Dost, Naya Zamana, Aadmi Aur Insaan Raja Jani.

Dharmendra died on 24 November at the age of 89.

Veteran actor Dharmendra was struggling with age related problems for a long time. He was first admitted to the hospital on 31 October, after which he was admitted again on 10 November. He was kept on ventilator in Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai for 2 days, after which he was discharged on 12 November.

Dharmendra’s family had said that he is recovering and is under the supervision of doctors. After this, the news of his demise suddenly came out on the afternoon of 24th November. Dharmendra’s last rites were performed in a hurry, due to which fans were not able to see him last.
