Madhuri Dixit is currently in the headlines for her upcoming psychological thriller series ‘Mrs. Deshpande’. Recently, the actress appeared in the podcast of news agency ANI, where she talked about many issues including her acting journey, taking a break from acting, woman centric role. In this podcast, he shared his memories about late actor Dharmendra.
Remembering Dharmendra, Madhuri said- ‘I have worked with him. I think he was in a movie. He was an amazing person. I had met him many times and he was always very polite, down to earth and extremely handsome. Her favorite song for me is ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas Tum Rahti Ho’. And this song suits him perfectly too.

In the podcast, when Madhuri was asked how Dharmendra changed himself as an action, romantic and comedy hero with time. Madhuri also agreed to this and said – ‘Yes…in a new form. Be it the film Chupke Chupke or that Basanti scene of Sholay, where he was drunk and was speaking chakki grinding dialogues. He was amazing in that too.
Let us tell you that Madhuri had worked with Dharmendra in films like ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ in 1988 and ‘Papi Devta’ in 1995.
Talking about Madhuri’s upcoming series ‘Mrs. Deshpande’, it has been directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. Applause Entertainment is producing it. This series will stream on OTT platform Jio Hot Star from December 19.
