Ban on entry of outside vehicles in Mahakumbh
Entry of outside vehicles has been banned in Mahakumbh from Friday. Traffic in-charge Amit said that this decision has been taken in view of the Republic Day holiday on Saturday and Sunday.
Jaunpur-Prayagraj route: If you are coming to Prayagraj from Jaunpur, then you will have to come via Sahashon via Garapur. Vehicles will have to be parked at Sugar Mill Parking Jhunsi and entire Surdas Parking Gara Road.
Varanasi-Prayagraj route: Devotees coming to Prayagraj from Varanasi will have to park their vehicles at Kanihar Railway Underbridge, Shivpur Ustapur Parking, Patel Bagh, Kanha Motors Parking to reach the fair area.
Mirzapur-Prayagraj route:Devotees coming from Mirzapur route will be allowed to reach Devrakh Upahar and Saraswati Hi-Tech Parking. At the same time, vehicles of devotees coming from Rewa route will be parked in Naini Agriculture Institute and Nav Prayagam parking area.
Kanpur-Prayagraj route:Vehicles of devotees coming from Kanpur side will be able to park in one or two bays of Bailey Cachar and Bela Cachar via Nawabganj, Malak Harhar, Sixlane.
Kaushambi-Prayagraj route:Vehicles entering the city from Kaushambi route will be able to park their vehicles in Nehru Park and Air Force Maidan parking.
Pratapgarh-Lucknow-Prayagraj route:Vehicles coming from Pratapgarh and Lucknow will be parked till Belly Cachar and Bela Cachar 2. From here one can go further by other vehicles including e-rickshaw.
