Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has appointed Manoj Dhanowar as the party president of Assam. Former state president Bhaben Choudhary has been appointed as the National Joint Secretary. Manoj Dhanowar was the AAP candidate from Dibrugarh seat in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. However, BJP’s Sarbananda Sonowal won.
