The Transport Authority in Mumbai has directed the app-based taxi and auto rickshaw aggregators to charge equal fare to black-yellow taxis. The Transport Authority has said that until the government sets different rates for them, Uber, Ola and Rapido will pay Rs 20.66 per km for non-AC vehicles like black-yellow taxis from customers and Rs 22.72 per km for AC vehicles.

Tamil actor Robo Shankar’s death at the age of 46; Two days ago, he fell unconscious on the set

Tamil actor and comedian Robo Shankar succumbed at the age of 46 on Thursday. He was admitted to GEM Hospital in Perungudi, Chennai for two days. He was placed in a critical care unit. The actor suddenly fell unconscious on a film set on 16 September.
The hospital reported that Robo Shankar had problems with gastrointestinal bleeding and multi -organ failure. His condition continued to deteriorate and he died on September 18 at 9:05 pm. Gestrointestinal bleeding means bleeding from the digestive system i.e. any part from the mouth to any part. Blood often appears in stool or vomiting.
In addition to working in several Tamil films, Robo Shankar was also known for his TV shows like Robo Shankar ‘Kings of Comedy Juniors’, ‘Kanni Thawu’, ‘Seomaruthi’ and ‘Top Kuku Dupa Kuku Season 2’. His most famous role was in the film ‘Mari’ with Dhanush.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin mourned the death of Robo Shankar. Actor Kamal Haasan wrote on X- Robo Shankar, Robo is just a fictional name. You are a human in my dictionary. I am my younger brother. Will you leave me and go? You have gone, your job is done. My work is incomplete. You are leaving for us tomorrow. Therefore, tomorrow is ours.
