Four people of the same family died while saving a cow in Takimari, Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. The dead include Paresh Das (60), his wife Deepali, son Mithun (30) and grandson Suman (2). According to the police, Mithun was bringing the cow back from the farm. Then the cow came in contact with the live wire present in the water accumulated outside the shed. When Mithun ran to save the cow, he got electrocuted. Hearing their son’s scream, father Paresh and mother Deepali ran to help. They also got electrocuted. According to the police, Deepali also had grandson Suman in her lap. He also got electrocuted and lost his life.
