A 48-year-old man has been arrested for staging a fake police arrest of two brothers in West Delhi. These brothers were kidnapped and Rs 40 lakh in cash and other valuables were looted from them.
The arrested accused has been identified as Harish Sharma alias Rinku. He already knew the victim’s brothers, who are into jewelery business. Police said that the accused had previous dealings with these brothers and a day before the incident, he had taken jewelery from them to sell.
According to the police, the incident took place on March 19. Both brothers Sagar Sharma and Manik had gone to Rajouri Garden to collect money for jewelery from someone. After the meeting, two men posing as police officers forced their way into his car. They threatened the brothers at gunpoint and kidnapped them.

Earthquake of 4.1 magnitude in Mangan, Sikkim

National Center for Seismology (NCS) said that an earthquake of 4.1 magnitude occurred in Mangan, Sikkim on Saturday. This earthquake occurred at 8:46 pm at a depth of 14 kilometers.
Earlier on Saturday itself, an earthquake of 2.9 magnitude occurred in Kokrajhar, Assam, whose depth was five kilometers.
