Mohan Bhagwat addressed a program in Guwahati on Tuesday.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Tuesday – India and Hindus are one. There is no need to declare India a Hindu nation, its civilization already shows this.

During an event in Guwahati, Bhagwat said that whoever is proud of India is a Hindu. Hindu is not just a religious term but a civilizational identity, which is linked to thousands of years of cultural tradition.

The RSS Chief reached Assam’s capital Guwahati on Monday for a three-day visit. Tomorrow on Wednesday, Bhagwat will address a youth conference. After this, we will leave for Manipur on 20th November.

Bhagwat said- all people should work together

On demographic change in Assam, Mohan Bhagwat said- We should have confidence, alertness and strong attachment to our land and culture. Also said that all sections of the society should work together selflessly.

He described the North-East as the best example of diversity in unity of India. Said that personalities like Lachit Borphukan and Srimanta Sankardev have not only regional but national importance. Inspires all Indians.
