The bodies of 6 people have been found in a hotel in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. All of them are citizens of Vietnam, including 3 women. 2 of these people also have dual citizenship of America.

This incident took place in Hyatt, a luxury hotel in central Bangkok. Local media is claiming that shots were fired inside the hotel. However, the police have denied this. They have not found any evidence of firing. At present, the police are investigating the angle of poisoning all the 6 people.

Information was received 24 hours after death
Bangkok’s police commissioner said that all these 6 people had not checked out from the hotel even after 24 hours. After this, when the hotel staff went to check, all the people were found dead on the fifth floor.

There are no signs of any kind of violence on the bodies of the deceased. According to the police, this does not appear to be a case of theft. The police have found traces of white powder in a cup inside the room of the deceased. The police suspect that this could be poison.

Grand Hotel Hyatt is a favorite tourist destination of tourists in Bangkok.

Signs of adulteration in food and drinks, search for suspect continues
Police said that suspicious substances and DNA of the deceased were found in the drinks ordered before 2 pm on Monday. Apart from this, tea, energy drinks and honey were also found in open containers in the bathroom. Apart from this, ordered food was also found.

Police found a dead body near the door. Police speculated that he might have tried to open the gate, however he died before he could do so.

According to the police, seven people had booked the hotel. Out of these, five people have died. Apart from this, another person has died whose booking record is not with the hotel.

The police is looking for the two people who were involved in booking the hotel. The police also examined the CCTV footage on Tuesday. Along with this, the Bangkok police is also investigating the items and luggage found from the rooms of the deceased.

The deceased had ordered food before the incident, however it was not even touched.

US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that we have received news of the death of two American citizens in Bangkok. We are keeping an eye on the incident. My condolences go out to the families of those killed.
