A case of suicide of an AI engineer has come to light in Bengaluru. 34 year old Atul Subhash committed suicide accusing his wife and mother-in-law of harassing him for money. On December 9, he released a 1:20 hour video and a 24-page letter saying that he had no option left except suicide.

Atul has also made serious allegations against a judge from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. He has written in his letter that the judge had asked for Rs 5 lakh in the name of hushing up the case. Atul also wrote that his wife, mother-in-law and the judge of Jaunpur had asked him to commit suicide.

The body of Atul Subhash, originally from Bihar, was recovered from his flat in Manjunath Layout, Bengaluru. When neighbors broke the door of his house, his body was found hanging. A placard written ‘Justice is Due’ was found in the room. On the complaint of Atul’s family, the police have registered a case of abetment to suicide.

Atul Subhash posted the link of his last video on his X account and tagged Elon Musk and Donald Trump.

Atul also wrote a note to the President in his letter. Atul Subhash has also written a letter to President Draupadi Murmu in a 24-page letter. In this, he wrote about the shortcomings of the country’s criminal justice system and talked about the trend of filing false cases against men. In another note, he wrote that he is pleading innocent to all the cases filed by his wife. These include anti-dowry law and cases of atrocities against women. He said that I request the court to stop harassing my parents and brother in these false cases.

Wife left home after living together for two years In the video recorded before suicide, Atul explained the entire incident in detail. He said they got married in 2019 after meeting a match through a matrimony site. Next year they had a son. He said that his wife and his wife’s family always kept demanding money from him, which he used to fulfill. He had given lakhs of rupees to his wife’s family. But when he stopped giving more money, the wife left Bengaluru with their son in 2021.

Atul told that I give her maintenance of Rs 40 thousand every month, but now she is demanding Rs 2-4 lakh per month as expenses for raising the child. Atul said that my wife neither lets me meet my son nor makes me talk to him.

Wife filed a case alleging dowry and father’s murder The next year, the wife filed several cases against him and his family members. These included cases of murder and unnatural sex. Atul said that his wife alleged that he had demanded dowry of Rs 10 lakh, due to which his father died of a heart attack.

Atul said that this allegation is like a bad story of a movie, because my wife has already accepted in the court in questioning that her father was suffering from a serious illness for a long time and was suffering from heart disease for the last 10 years. He was undergoing treatment at AIIMS for health problems and diabetes. The doctors had given him only a few months to live, that’s why we got married in a hurry.

Wife asked for 3 crores, judge said- why don’t you commit suicide Atul said that my wife had initially demanded Rs 1 crore to settle this case, but later it was increased to Rs 3 crore. He said that when he told the judge of the Family Court of Jaunpur about this demand of Rs 3 crore, he also supported his wife.

Atul said that I told the judge that NCRB reports show that many men in the country are committing suicide due to false cases, then the judge told me why don’t you commit suicide. Having said this, the judge laughed and said that these cases are false, you should think about the family and settle the case. I will take Rs 5 lakh to settle the case.

Wife’s mother said- If you die, your father will give money.

Atul told that when he talked to his mother-in-law about this matter, her mother-in-law said that you have not committed suicide yet, I thought the news of your suicide would come today. On this Atul replied that if I die then how will your party run?

Her mother-in-law replied that your father will give the money. After the death of the husband, everything happens to the wife. Your parents will also die soon. The daughter-in-law has a part in that too. Your entire family will make rounds of the court for the rest of their life.

In his note, Atul has mentioned the conversation he had with his mother-in-law. He claimed that his mother-in-law asked him to die.

I and my family are being harassed with the money I earn.

Atul said that I think it would be better for me to die, because with the money I am earning, I am strengthening my own enemy. I am wasting my earned money. With my own tax money, this court, this police and the entire system will harass me, my family and many others like me. If I am not there then there will be no money nor will there be any reason to trouble my parents and brother.
